Setsubun tombe le 3 Février, lors de la transition entre l’hiver et le printemps. Le jour setsubun, les gens tiennent un rituel qui a pour but de chasser les mauvais esprits et les maladies en dispersant des fèves de soja séchées et ainsi accueillir la bonne fortune.De nombreuses cérémonies de setsubun ont lieu dans les temples et sanctuaires à travers Kyoto.

Setsubun – Seasonal Division of Spring

Setsubun falls on the February 3rd, the division between winter and spring. On Setsubun day, people hold rituals in order to chase bad fortunes and illnesses off by scattering dried soybeans and welcoming in good luck. Many Setsubun ceremonies are held at temples and shrines throughout Kyoto.
